Cassette Week is back for its 4th year in 2024!
This year this special week runs Oct 14th - 20th.
It's a national celebration of the fabulous cassette and features releases available exclusively through participating independent record stores across North America.
Royal Oakie has five exciting 2024 releases available through Cassette Week 2024:

‘We've always valued the cassette tape for its accessibility, the sound of analog tape, and its history with experimental music and DIY scenes from Grateful Dead bootlegs to Alice Coltrane devotionals to garage rock and beyond. For a lot of people cassettes were the first physical format they owned, so there's a nostalgia that goes along with cassette tapes as well. We've done cassette releases from the beginning, so it's great to see Tapehead City shining a light on the format with Cassette Week 2024,' says Royal Oakie Records' David Glasebrook.
